Driving Test

Driving test are conducted at our Main Office location from 8am to 11 am and from 2pm to 3:30pm, daily.

If you are interested in a driving test you must provide a vehicle for the driving test. The vehicle must have a valid tag, proof of insurance, and pass a vehicle inspection. During the driving test, the examiner will observe your ability to control the vehicle and how well you obey traffic laws.

Driver license handbooks and commercial driver license handbooks are available for your use from your local Columbia County Tax Collector's Offices. There is no charge for the handbooks. These handbooks also can be viewed online at our Driver License Handbook page.
