BIOGRAPHY

Ronnie Brannon began his service with the Columbia Tax Collector's office in June of 1986 as the Ad Valorem Tax Manager. Ronnie was promoted to the position of Assistant Tax Collector in 1996 and served in that capacity until his election as Tax Collector in August of 2004.

Ronnie is a lifelong resident of Columbia County. He is the son of the former Harold R. Brannon and Sara H. Minkley. Ronnie attended the public schools in Columbia County and graduated from Columbia High School in 1972. He is married to the former Tracy Howie Woods and they attend Gateway Baptist Church.

Ronnie holds certifications from the Florida Department of Revenue as a Certified Florida Collector and the Florida Association of Occupational Licensing Officials as well.
